On Monday we will embark on our first cruise for our new NSF funded project to look at zooplankton responses to hypoxia in the Chesapeake Bay.  As with any new project the preparations are exhaustive and frantic at times, but thanks to a top notch team, we’re on track.  We’ve got a lot of operations planned and should keep ourselves and the ship busy.  I hope to update this blog during our cruise with pictures and stories, as time allows.  For now, it’s back to cruise prep, but I will try to update a bit more about our plan and the status of the cruise.  Stay tuned!
